· A smooth, straight instrument, 22Fr. in calibre, and a working length of 7 inches with the jaws open.

· Gently rounded tip affords ease of introduction.

· Jaws open fully by turning the knurled knob at proximal end, and then occupy a position at right angles to the shaft of  the instrument.

· Grasping the instrument by means of the comfortable finger grips provided permits the application of traction to the gland without trauma.
